There are two difficult bends in learning the Italian language. One is gender and ending in non-verbs, and more important conjugation of verbs. We studied three groups in verbs in How to Learn Imperativein Italian. We improve our understanding of verbs further here.
Steps
- Learn Seven Conjugations Moods in Italian:
- Indicative (indicative) : Shows an action, indicates something
- Subjunctive (congiuntivo) : Shows desire of something wanted
- Conditional : Shows an action that might be as a consequence
- Imperative : Shows something should be
- Infinitive : shows an action that has no tense
- Participle : shows an action as an adjective/adverb
- Gerund : shows an action as a noun
- Concentrate, for now on two conjugations : indicativo and congiuntivo.
- Note that indicativo mood has eight (8) forms - eight tenses.
- Note that congiuntivo has only four (4) forms - four tenses.
- Note that both have two common forms : presente and imperfetto.
