How to Write for Polemical Website

Be Polemical

This website is created by motivation of some Facebook friends who are, mostly, not professional writer or journalist. I try to give some guidelines.


  1.  Avoid putting an entire articles of others as a post or comment. We do not make another time eroding page of Facebook. It will be immediately deleted.
  2.  Quote from the articles you have seen and read, as much as you like. But try to add flesh from your own creation.
  3.  Try to make your own creation more than 50 per cent of the whole material.
  4.  Use itemised propositions. If on first blogs you cannot integrate your ideas pen them down with bullets and itemised sentences.
  5.  Keep the register. It means, attach to the subject and its tense you have selected to write about.
  6.  Do not write more than 1000-1500 words.
  7.  Divide very long posts into shorter posts and enumerate them as part 1, part 2 and so on.
  8.  Paragraph your writing. Use punctuation.
  9.  Consider paragraphing is kind of itemising. Hence, begin your paragraph with your next point and keep the register of that point to the end of each paragraph.
  10.  Mind punctuations and capitalisation!
    • Use question marks in its correct grammar of an interrogative sentence, never as a sarcasm and never repeat it (like this ??? or worse ?...?); otherwise you will disturb the semantics.
    • Follow the same rule for exclamation marks. Do not confuse your reader and ask him to be surprised or become more surprised by repeating the exclamation as a "guide" for augmentation of surprising situation.
    • Do not over-use too much "commas"; instead, break the sentences. Avoid "run-in" sentences. That is, usig commas seprating two or more sentences that should be separated by "period" or should be connected with conjuncts.
    • Do not use capital letters in place of underscoring. All-capital sentences have no meaning; frequently, are interpreted as kind of shouting and even insult. Use bold face fonts instead of all-capital phrases if you mean emphasise.
  11.  Do not over-use fonts of different shapes, colours, sizes, and font faces.
  12.  Use justified text. This helps a better appearance of your writing. in Word Press blogs click on your text then click "Ctrl+a" then do a "Shift+Alt+j" your text will become justified.
  13.  Avoid three L's: Lie, Libel, Label of people.
  14.  Have a go for proof reading of your articles; otherwise, people will not read your things.
  15.  Do not be shy. Everything has its own customer. Moreover, you will improve by time.
  16.  Know your goal. Like all the great and non-great writers your goal is to entertain yourselves not to expect the public ovation. Therefore, allow your mind and pen to flow freely and to create, even though you believe nobody will read it. Allow your creativity to boil out and flow over your caldron.

  18.  Be terse in quoting from the holy books. Give the understanding of one verse or two, you might quote, at any blog. If you feel you have a duty, a mission, of enlightening other individuals, do it with care and obsession and clear language and responsibility not just to get rid of the burden you feel.
  19.  Do not believe that you have to respond to any contrary comments
  20.  Try not to answer to the inflamatory comments; except, when they are from a genuin concern.
  21.  Do not use "he/she". That won't help anyone.
  22.  Use the space for personal improvement. Take your time and be patient, one step at a time.


  • Do not include any picture of children, or any graphical description of cruelty and sex towards animals and humans or such pictures.
  • Don't post pictures or videos of character, pornographic, erotic, violent or cruel or links to them. Do not post photos of children victims of human cruelty or social injustice, not under any pretext.
  • Don't include any pictures of snakes.
  • When editing the works of other people, do not change sentences and semantic and literary works of those people. Improve solely paragraphing, grammar and punctuation. Ask them before republishing the edited work.
